Soil Sampler Awards 2011: Tony Nugent, crop agronomist with Brett Brothers, Callan, Co Kilkenny, was the 2011 winner of the Top Student Award in the Crops Nutrition Management Course delivered by Teagasc in 2011.

The prize of a soil sampler was sponsored by K & S Kali Ltd. Tony was presented with his award at the Fertilizer Association of Ireland Spring Scientific Meeting in Horse and Jockey, Co. Tipperary on 7 February 2012.
