The Fertilizer Association of Ireland was founded in 1968 under the stewardship of Dr Tom Walsh, the 1st president of the Association “Promotes the efficient use of fertilizer to produce quality food in an economical and environmentally sustainable manner”. Membership The Fertilizer Association of Ireland draws its members from the entire agricultural industry – farmers, research, agribusiness, fertilizer industry, government officials, university and advisory personnel are members. The efficient use of fertilizer is promoted through technical meetings, field visits, conferences and the regular publication of technical information.
